Our Journey

Founded in 1989 with roots tracing back to the early 1950s, we have grown from a small paper trading venture in Kolkata to one of India’s premier paper importers and distributors. Our path has been long, winding and exciting. We have a long way left to go.

1952

Sri Satyanarayan Goenka begins a paper business in Kolkata.

1960

Parmanand Ji Goenka joins and forms key partnerships with Titagarh and Bengal Paper mills.

1980

We become the exclusive pan-Indian supplier of cheque paper for SBI, UCO and UBI.

1990

Umesh Goenka joins, setting the stage for expansion.

1993

Sri Satyanarayan Goenka receives a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Pranab Mukherjee.

1997

First container import from Indonesia’s Sinarmas Group.

2003

We venture into specialty and filtration papers.

2014

Parmanand Ji Goenka receives Lifetime Achievement Award.

2019

100,000 sq ft modern warehouse established.

2024

High-speed precision cutting facility introduced, and we expand into gumming sheets and packaging.
